TEAM SPECIFIC AWARDS

Most Valuable Player
The Most Valuable Player award is presented to the player who possess an outstanding balance of individual skill, team leadership and plays a pivotal role in the success of their team and the growth of their teammates.
  
Commitment to Excellence
The Commitment to Excellence award is presented to the player who possess the individual skill to be highly successful, takes pride in being a good teammate and possess a positive and motivational work ethic. 
 
Most Inspirational Player
The Most Inspirational Player award goes to the team member who through their hard work and dedication have achieved athletic success and been able to help raise the game and moral of their teammates.

              2018-19 Athletes of the Month
Each month the Salish Athletic Department would like to take time and honour our top athlete or athletes based on their athletic achievements and leadership skills.  Along with receiving a certificate, each athlete will have the opportunity to be interviewed by one of our school's coaches as we try to discover more about the athletes who've helped contribute to the success of our Salish Athletics Program in 2018-19

CONGRATULATIONS

Ryan & Lindsay Cyr both received awards on October 28th at the BC Athletics JD Banquet for meeting or exceeding the BC Standard in Shot Put for their age group. 

Lindsay has been the recipient of the award for 5 consecutive years, with Ryan taking home the award 4 years in a row.
