Coaches Needed
Coaches are always needed!  Adults that are interested in helping coach a team & develop the Salish Athletics Programs, please contact Mr. Mueller as soon as possible.

Spring League Basketball Champions!!!​

The Salish Junior Wolves walked away with the title of the 2nd annual Pinetree Spring League Championship last Thursday.  They beat the host Pinetree, who came into the final with an 8-0 record through the regular season and playoffs.  Salish’s press proved to be too much early on as they jumped out to a 14-0 lead and cruised to a 50-30 win.  Key performances by Grade 8’s Oliver Watson with 16 rebounds and Isaiah Samson who shot 4 threes and scored 16 points were key to the win.
Salish Flag Football Surrey Champions!!!

Huge Congratulations to the Salish Flag Football team for winning the Surrey Championships yesterday shutting out the #1 seed Fleetwood Park Dragons 14-0 in the league finals. The team overcame huge adversity all season to ultimately rally together, showing tremendous resilience and togetherness ultimately leading to the schools first ever

Ball Hockey Provincial Champions!
Congratulations Salish Wolves for achieving a dominant performance at the 2023 Provincial Ball Hockey Championships!! With a 4-0 win over the Frank Hurt Secondary Hornets on Sunday, May 28th. The two teams had both entered the final game unbeaten through the tournament, but Salish's depth proved to be too much for the Hornets.  Salish allowed just 3 goals over their 5-game tournament run while scoring 23 themselves. En route to the final, the Wolves beat Enver Creek, Thomas Haney (Maple Ridge), Alpha Secondary (Burnaby) and Campbell River Secondary.  Patrick Coopman was named Tournament MVP.

Salish Ice Hockey 
HSHL Division B Champions


Salish Wins! Salish Wins!! Salish Wins!!!

Congratulations to the Salish Ice Hockey team as they defeated Frank Hurt in front of an energetic & friendly-packed crowd at the South Surrey Arena.  After being down 1-2, Salish's defence worked hard to overcome Frank Hurt's speedy forwards and limited their offensive chances.  Offensively, Salish drove and shot the puck on net, wore down FH's defense & goaltender while gradually building up a 5-3 lead in the 3rd period.  2 empty net goals sealed the win with a final score of 7-3.  

Thank you to all the coaches and players on the team this year and in previous years.  The program started slow with lots of losses in the years preceding this one.  The players & especially the coaching staff's determination and commitment has resulted in a

Division B Championship title!
