Sr. Girls Soccer The team won their home opener yesterday, 5-0, against Fraser Heights. The girls fought hard in the pouring rain and wind. Haley Jones and Sydney Glausen scored two goals each, and Olivia Guild scored our 5th from a corner kick. Despite not having any subs in the second half, the girls were able to maintain their score, and Megan Traversy had her first shut out of the season. Congratulations girls!

Salish Ice Hockey HSHL Division B Champions
Salish Wins! Salish Wins!! Salish Wins!!!
Congratulations to the Salish Ice Hockey team as the defeated Frank Hurt in front of energetic & friendly packed crowd at the South Surrey Arena. After being down 1-2, Salish's defence worked hard to overcome Frank Hurt's speedy forwards and limited their offensive chances. Offensively, Salish drove and shot the puck on net, wore down FH's defense & goaltender while gradually building up a 5-3 lead in the 3rd period. 2 empty net goals sealed the win with a final score of 7-3.
Thank you to all the coaches and players on the team this year and in previous years. The program started slow with lots of losses in the years preceding this one. The players & especially the coaching staff's determination and commitment has resulted in a Surrey High School Hockey League Division B Championship title!
